INDY Proudly Presents:
BOB HUSS
Bob has dedicated himself to a life of serving others. His first priority is always his family, especially his grandchildren. He will always give his last spare minute and spend his last cent on any of them. In his professional life, Bob has served his community as an EMT for nearly 4 decades. "Huss" as he's known at work, is one of the most caring and compassionate providers in EMS. Over the last several months, his health had been getting worse. He finally took himself to the doctor where he learned it was cancer. Bob was diagnosed with lung cancer. The initial treatments were starting out well with not too many side effects, but then the hammer dropped. The radiation literally ate up his throat leaving him unable to eat or drink anything. This has caused him to lose nearly 40 pounds now. He became extremely ill with pneumonia which earned him a very uncomfortable and lonely stay in the hospital due to COVID-19. Since coming home again he has been improving at a slow speed but is able to eat and drink very small amounts. A friend was speaking to Bob recently and Bob said "Easy buddy.. I'm Not Done Yet." We believe you are exactly right Bob!
